It’s easy to get involved at St. Joseph. Use your talents to give back to the Lord in any of the following paths.
Liturgical
Altar Servers
Youth of the parish (boys and girls), grades 5 and above, are encouraged to volunteer as altar servers.

Children’s Choir
All school-aged children are encouraged to join our Children’s Choir. Formed in the Spring of 2022, the choir sings at the 10:00 am Mass on the first Sunday of the month and other special occasions.

Sings at weekend Masses and special occasions (i.e., Midnight Mass) under direction of Lisa Silliman, organist.

Eucharistic Ministers
Assist the pastor in the distribution of Holy Communion.

Greeters/Ushers
Welcome and greet each person as they join our Mass celebration; assist with seating and collections, and distribute bulletins.

Prayer
Eucharistic Adoration
Every Tuesday, from 8:30 am to 7:00 pm, parishioners spend time with the Blessed Sacrament praying. Someone needs to be present at all times during Eucharistic Adoration. If you are willing to commit to a specific hour each Tuesday, call the parish office at (636) 332-6676.
Prayer Chain
Join other parishioners in praying for special needs as they arise.

Vocation Prayer Chalice
Each week a parishioner takes the prayer chalice to their home to be used in family prayer for vocations.

Assists the pastor in financial matters, expenses and investments of St. Joseph parish. Meets quarterly.

Cleaning Church
Teams of volunteers clean the church once a month either on Friday morning or Saturday morning. To volunteer in this ministry call the parish office at (636) 332-6676.
CYC
CYC promotes, sponsors and organizes the sports programs for the youth of the parish.

The Dinner Auction Committee plans the annual dinner auction, collects donations, and facilitates the event.

The annual golf tournament is always a good time to gather golfers and raise money for our school. Join this committee to help plan this fun event.

Joyful Messengers
Prepare and mail cards and letters to sick, elderly and shut-in parishioners. Meet once a month at school.

Knights of Columbus Council 15433
“In service to One, in service to all”
Knights of Columbus is a men’s fraternal service organization that promotes Catholic values in homes and communities. They meet on the fourth Thursday of each month at 7:00 pm.

Meal a Month
Our parish supports the food pantry of St. Patrick in Wentzville by donating food and personal items. Bags are distributed the first Sunday of every month.
Ministry of Meals
Provides home cooked meals to those in need of temporary assistance. Please contact Nancy Dotta if you are willing to prepare meals or if you are in need of meals.

Money Counting
Volunteers count the offertory collection each Sunday at 11:00 am. To volunteer, please contact the parish office at (636) 332-6676.
Music Fest
St. Joseph Music Fest and Car Show is held in the fall and features live music, a car show, concessions, games. Committee members are needed to help plan this event and members of the parish are asked to work a shift on the night of the event.

St. Patrick Center
Our parish supports the food kitchen at St. Patrick Center in St. Louis by preparing chili to be distributed to the Center on the third Monday of each month.

Spirit Alive
Two-day youth conference for Catholic teens (grades 7th-12th) across the St. Louis archdiocese (and beyond). Promotes fun, fellowship and building a stronger relationship with Christ. Held yearly in October.

Youth Group
Fellowship of Eucharistic Defenders is the youth group organization for teens to share and stay excited about their faith. Meetings are the first and third Sunday of each month from 7:00 pm-8:30 pm at St. Joseph School Cafeteria. All are welcome and encourage to bring a friend. Check the calendar for upcoming meetings.
